It was designated a Chicago Landmark in the 1970s and its residences display a range of architectural styles that were fashionable in the second half of the 19th century.

Lincoln Park forms the community’s northern boundary and is a great local amenity. The huge lakefront park is home to several museums, a zoo and has many recreation areas and beaches. The community’s southern border on E. Oak is where you will find upscale shopping in the neighborhood.

Payton College Prep, one of the top rated public high schools in the country is just a short walk from Gold Cast and nearby private schools include the Latin School of Chicago and the Chicago Grammar School.

Gold Coast Transportation

The neighborhood is served by the Clark/Division stop on the Red Line. Driving time to the Loop is less than 10 minutes.
